Another version of Smoky Quartz Renaissance Ring, this time using a faceted diamond slice with a dark rectangle in the centre and surrounded by clarity and backed with gold leaf which gives great depth to the stone. It is surrounded by diamond beads and has an 18 carat gold shank size L, but can be resized easily.

It reminds me of the rings you see in Renaissance portraits, sometimes worn above the knuckle.
